Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of Beckett's Terms of Service. It describes what you may and may not do when using Beckett. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Prohibited Content
You may not use Beckett to store, process, or transmit content that:
- Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or constitutes child sexual abuse material
- Infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Constitutes phishing, fraud, or identity theft
- Facilitates harassment, threats, intimidation, or stalking of any person
- Promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm
- Contains personal information of others without their consent
Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Access or attempt to access another user's account or data
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features of the Service
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service except through our published APIs
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications (spam)
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
AI-Specific Restrictions
Beckett's AI features are designed for personal productivity and organization. You may not:
- Use the AI to generate content for deceptive, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
- Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or probe the AI's underlying models, prompts, or training data
- Use the AI to generate content that impersonates specific real individuals
- Systematically collect or store AI outputs for the purpose of building competing products or datasets
- Use the AI in ways that could cause harm to yourself or others, including attempting to use Beckett as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or crisis services
Enforcement
We may investigate potential violations and take any action we deem appropriate, including but not limited to: issuing a warning, suspending or terminating your account, removing content, reporting violations to law enforcement, or taking legal action.
When possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue before taking action. However, in cases of severe violations (including illegal activity, threats of harm, or actions that jeopardize other users or the Service), we may act immediately without prior notice.
